- 150g mixed seeds
- 40g chia seeds
- 10 dried apricots, chopped
- 80g raisins
- 150g Med Cuisine Silan Medjool Date Syrup
- 50g olive oil
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp ground cardamom
- A pinch of Maldon salt
Instructions:
-
Preheat the Oven:
- Heat your oven to 150°C (302°F).
-
Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, mixed seeds, chia seeds, raisins, and chopped apricots.
-
Prepare the Syrup Mixture:
- In a small saucepan, combine the Med Cuisine Silan Medjool Date Syrup, olive oil, cinnamon, cardamom, and Maldon salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly to ensure the ingredients emulsify.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Pour the hot syrup mixture over the dry ingredients in the bowl. Mix thoroughly to ensure all the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
-
Bake the Granola:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Spread the granola mixture evenly across the tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Open the oven every 5 minutes to stir the granola, ensuring it bakes evenly and prevents burning.

Cool and Store:
- Allow the granola to cool completely on the tray. Once cool, transfer it to an airtight container for storage.
-
Serve:
- Enjoy your homemade granola over yogurt, topped with your favorite fruits, and perhaps an extra drizzle of date syrup for added sweetness.
