For Decorating:

  • Almonds
  • Melted chocolate
  • Other toppings of your choice


  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, tahini, baking powder, sugar, and soft unsalted butter. Mix manually and knead until a uniform dough is formed.
  3. Shape the Cookies:

    • Divide the dough into approximately 40 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, ensuring a few centimeters of space between each cookie.
    • Press an almond (or your preferred nut) into the center of each cookie.
  4. Bake:

    • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until they are just golden.
  5. Cool and Decorate:

    • Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the tray. Optionally, drizzle with melted chocolate or add other toppings as desired.
  6. Store:

    • Once completely cooled, store the cookies in a closed container to keep them fresh.
