  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 tablespoons Med Cuisine Natural Tahini
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Prepare the Peas:

    • If using frozen peas, microwave them for 30 seconds to defrost, or leave them out at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  2. Blend the Spread:

    • Place the defrosted peas, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor.
    • Process for about a minute, or until the mixture is smooth and spreadable.
  3. Season:

    • Taste the spread and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, and additional lemon juice to your preference.
  4. Serve:

    • Serve the spread with toasted bread and a selection of vegetables such as radishes, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
    • Alternatively, use it as a delicious filling for a vegan sandwich.
